The best life tracker is the one that sees your whole life. Habits, tasks, money, workouts, mood and focus are not separate problems: your training moves your mood, your mood moves your spending, your spending moves your stress. An app that only holds one of those can never show you that. Todoku holds all of them, works it out on your own phone, and keeps all of it on your device. That is what we built it to be, and it is what the rest of this page measures everything against.
| It has to | Todoku | The usual alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Track everything in one place | Habits, tasks, projects, focus, workouts, money, net worth, mood and journal in one app | Five apps, five subscriptions, five logins. Hevy for the gym, TickTick for tasks, Habitify for habits, getquin for money, Daylio for mood. |
| Keep your data yours | Everything stays on your device, no account needed, no ads, and the Play Data safety declaration says no data collected | Every app above requires an account and stores your data on its servers. HabitGenius, the nearest all-in-one, is offline too, but its Play declaration says it may collect personal info and app activity. |
| Connect the dots | Patterns card finds what moves your mood and your productivity, computed on your phone | Exist.io sells correlations alone for about $84 a year, with no free tier. |
| Let you log without limits, free | Unlimited habits, tasks, workouts, accounts and connections on the free plan | Habitify limits free habits, HabitGenius allows 4, Strong limits you to 3 routines, Hevy caps routines at 4. |
| Never charge you for your own data | Export, import and backups are free, always, and always will be | Todoist puts automatic backup behind Pro ($60 a year). |
| Cost less than the pile of apps it replaces | £0, or Pro at £34.99 a year for long-range insights | Hevy $23.99 + TickTick $49.99 + Habitify £21.99 + getquin £89.90: over £170 a year. |
We would rather you hear it from us. Todoku does not sync between devices yet. Encrypted sync through your own cloud drive is coming as a Pro feature. It does not do shared team lists, because that needs servers and we do not run any. And there is no watch app yet. All of those are on the list. None of them changes where your data lives.
See Todoku next to the apps you may already use at Todoku compared. Two shorter guides answer one need each: the best habit tracker with net worth tracking and an app that tracks habits and money. Android users can start with the best all-in-one life tracker for Android.
