The short version: Todoku runs today with no server, no sign-up and no analytics, so we do not collect, store, see or sell any of your data. Sync between your own devices is coming later. You will have to switch it on yourself, and it will be end to end encrypted. We will update this page before it ships. This page exists because app stores need one, and because you deserve the details.
Everything you log is stored on your own device. That means your tasks, habits, workouts, money, mood, journal entries and photos. None of it is sent to us. We have nothing that could receive it.
Backups are files the app writes to your device's storage at your request (plus an automatic weekly one, which you can turn off). They go where you put them. Optionally they are encrypted with a password only you know; we could not recover it, because we never have it.
The Android app asks for two things. Internet access, for the optional price and AI features above. And permission to send notifications, for the reminders you set. Nothing else.
Pro is purchased through Google Play. Google processes the payment and tells the app only that the purchase exists. We never see your payment details.
Todoku is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
If any of this ever changes, this page will say so, with the date above updated, before any new behaviour ships.
